The time you become greedy, and wish to get "lucky", is the day you lose all of your money. Seems a bit absurd, but it appears to be real. The only time I ever win money is when I don’t worry about losing it. I headed to the the casino the other evening with 20 dollarsin my pocket. I could not care any less about squandering it, I mean, what is twenty dollars? So guess what happened? I ended up leaving with one hundred and twenty dollars profit in just a few hours!

Another occassion I was at the casino with my friend Ben. I went in with 100 dollars that I could not afford to lose. I got hoggish, I got worried, and I ended up betting too much and squandered it in 30 mins! The lesson is don’t ever bet more than you can commit to lose. If you don’t worry about not winning, you have a greater chance of succeeding big!

What other ways can you build up your chances of succeeding at Roulette besides setting a budget? Never bet on single numbers! Sure, they come up occasionally, but they don’t hit enough to guarantee a dependable profit. Only wager on 1:1 wagers for example black, red, odd, even, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets like first 12, 2nd 12, third dozen, etc Bet on odds that pay out relatively high.

With the basic rules covered, how else can we further elevate our odds of succeeding at Roulette? By shifting probability into our ally, as opposed to our mortal enemy. "You can not be a winner at Roulette", my friend Mike would say to me. "It is absolutely arbitrary because any number can come up". Yes, my buddy Chris has a point, although at the same instance, he is overlooking a significant part of the picture. I absolutely agree, black or red could come up thirty times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
